poloc is a family-centred club with its own ground in the picturesque pollok country park estate on glasgow's south-side.
 
members come from all backgrounds and from across the ethnic and cultural spectrums with all ages taking an active part in club life. as well as competitive and social cricket for juniors and adults, there are all-weather tennis facilities, a unique golf section, spectator seating, dedicated junior pavilion and well-appointed clubhouse with spacious bar area, pool table, darts and catering facilities.
 
competitively, the club's cricket sides play under the names "nvt poloc" and "nvt shawholm", nvt being the club's main sponsor - more about it and the club's other funders and supporters can be found on the website.  nvt poloc play in the scottish national cricket league premier division whilst nvt shawholm play in the western district cricket union second division.  our academy xi compete in the strathclyde league, and junior sides play at six age-group levels in the west district junior cricket union leagues and cup competitions, as well as in national cup competitions.
